SUBSURFACE: The type section is in the Well CH-1-1, Interval is 1342-1429m and thickness is 87m. Lithology and Thickness
Limestone. This formation is recognized to include limestone sandwiched between the Eocene and Lower Oligocene unconformity. The 87-m-thick unit is characterized by greenish white and buff colored foraminifer and algal wackestone. Several intervals are dolomitized.

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
The formation rests unconformably over Karwar Fm.
Upper contact
The formation unconformably underlies Cannore Fm.
